Sick and Tired of Being Sick and Tired!!!

I haven't posted in a while because I have been sick for almost 2 weeks now!

I'm past the..I'm sick of being sick to the...I don't even know what it is now!!!

I woke up yesterday and felt like I got clocked in my left eye!!!

Its been more than delightful!

Anyway...

I decided that instead of sulking in my sickness I may as well do something!

I mean I either feel sick while doing something productive or feel sick while laying in bed right?

Right...

So you can expect some posts coming your way from this gal very very soon!!!

Super cute right?

Day 1 of 2

This week has been crazy hectic!

My sister ( we're pretty much connected at the hip ) had a photo shoot today for one of our friends...

Let me just tell you...this little girl is absolutely beautiful!!!

She also modeled some headbands for me today too and I couldn't be happier with the way they turned out! 

My sister has another shoot tomorrow of a newborn and I cant wait!

I'm so excited but for now...

30 day shred

Alright so I know I posted before about doing the 30 day shred...

Well I did so good for 5 days straight and I fell off the wagon!

Well I'm back on as of today! I made myself those little paper chain thingys...

you know the kind you would make in school to count down the days till Christmas...

yeah those.

I made 3 ten count chains and hung them from the fireplace.

I'm hoping that it will help me in some crazy weird kinda way...I don't know.

I thought it sounded like a good idea!

So anyway...

I'm gonna have the honey take some pics before and when I'm done I will have him take some after.

If I'm brave enough I'm going to share!!!

Home sweet Home

I am loving all the pictures people are posting on Pinterest of decorating ideas! I am dying to redecorate my house! It took us 6 years to get this place the way we wanted it and I'm ready to make it beautiful with some unique and fancy lovelies! Here's some of my inspirations...

 I can't wait to show you what I come up with!!!

Pillows Please...

Here's a little pillow tutorial for you...

Supplies

Stencil of your choice

Fabric paint

Sponge Brush

Paper Scrap

Iron

Fabric ( pillow )

So here's what I did...

Step 1

I sewed up my pillow (make sure to leave an opening to stuff it after you paint it).

Now I'm not the best sewer but this was actually pretty easy.

I think because my fabric has no pattern so I didn't have to make it super perfect except for the lines of course but anyway...

Step 2

After I sewed my pillow I got my stencil, paint, paper scrap, and sponge and I simply placed the stencil in the middle, placed my paper scrap inside under the stencil, and painted it with fabric paint ( I'm using the velveteen fabric paint ).

I wasn't sure if I should let it dry first before I used the iron on the paint so I waited about 10 min. it was still wet but it worked...

Step 3

Put your iron on steam and place it about 1 inch above the design and watch it puff up!

Step 4

Once its all dry...stuff your pillow to your liking!

Step 5

Sew that little baby up and enjoy!!!
