A little bit of Me...

I am at a very strange place in my life right now. I'm adjusting to being a mommy and everything that comes with that...

I feel like I don't know who I am these days...like I have lost me!!!

I need a reminder of who I am! I don't ever want to forget the person that I am!

I'm a dreamer...I'm a child at heart...I love my family more than anything in this world...I may not be the best friend that calls every day or makes every event but I'm the best friend that's there to pick you up when times are hard...I believe that laughter is the best romance...my heart is always open...I can make something good out of nothing...I believe in many loves not just one...

I'm a people watcher...I take a bath every night to clear my head...I could sleep in every day till noon...Ice cream is my forever friend...I don't have the perfect body but its only because it held the most perfect child...I have secrets...lots of secrets...I hate to cook but love to eat...warm summer nights make my heart so happy...I sing way to loud in the car when I'm alone...I believe everything that happens is life happens for a reason...I believe that people come into our lives just when we need them...

This not everything but it is the most important for me to remember! The things I am proud to be and the things that make me who I am... 

A few days ago I was talking to a complete stranger, he asked me tell him my 5 favorite movies of all time...he said he could tell a lot about a person by the movies they liked...I told him my 5 and he described me exactly the way that I am...in not so many words of course... but I couldn't believe it! A complete stranger just described me and here I am wondering..who am I when I have known myself my whole life! I want to thank him for helping me to see..me...again!!!

Dear Laundry,

Its time we had a little talk...I know I have been ignoring you and talking about you under my breath when I walk by you and I'm sorry but to be honest I just really don't like you anymore! Well I never have really... If you could just stop multiplying and maybe wash yourself, dry yourself, fold yourself, and put yourself away, I think we could be friends but until then were just going to have to remain enemies...

 Yeah that's my little man with a blanket on his head and my panties in his hand...Hey he was having fun!!!

 I just love him! Look at those cheeks! I cant take it! I think all I do is kiss them!

I haven't been spending too much time on here because my little man has been a little bit on the, how shall we say...cranky side.

He has been pushing me to my limits the last few weeks and I just wanted to be with him playing and loving on him all day today without any distractions!

I have to say it was one of the best days I have had in a long time!

Sometimes the stress and craziness of everyday gets in the way of what is most important to me and I need to take the time to just be with him and only him!

So I am sorry if I haven't been keeping up but my little man needed me today and I needed him more!!!

Cuff Love!

Ooolala...these cuffs are super sweet! I love them and I love that they take no effort to put together!

To start I got all my supplies together...

Glue Gun

Ribbons

Buttons

Felt

Velcro

So first off I took all my ribbons and clued them to what will be the base of my cuff

I cut and clued the felt over what was folded over behind the cuff

I took my velcro and clued that to the felt and to the right side of my cuff

 added a button

and what do you know...Cuff Love!!!

Bows...and my mommy!

So my momma called me today and was asking why she wasn't mentioned on here and I teased her a little and said I was gonna put a picture up of her... Being the sweet little daughter that I am...

There she is...The worlds most amazing mother! I can only pray that my son and I will have the same relationship as my mother and I have! She has taught me so much about love and life.  

I am not the perfect daughter by any means but no matter what I have done or what I may do she has never nor will she ever judge me! She loves me just the way I am! The good, the bad, and the ugly!

I want my son to feel the same! I want him to know that I wont ever judge him and that I also love him just the way he is no matter what that may be!

I love you momma and know that you mean everything to me!!!

Now for today's tutorial...Get ready because your going to want to make a hundred of these in every color!! I know I did!

My Supplies

Fabric

Yarn Thread Stuff  ( I don't know the name )

Scissors

Glue Gun

Earring Post

So what I did first was I cut my fabric into little rectangles like this...

I just cut them to a size I thought would be good for earrings ( so not too big )

I then took my string and tied a little knot in the middle of the fabric

I took the rest of the string and wrapped it around making it a little thick

The only earring post I had were a little a big so this is what I did...

I just took the earring post and glued it to some fabric to cover the gold and then cut around it.

Once that was done I glued my bow to it and just like that I had myself a pretty darn cute pair of earrings!

The Letter H!

My sister came to me with this idea and I loved it! You can check her out here! Shes pretty amazing if I must say so myself! Not just cause she's my sister but the best mommy ever and she's also my biggest fan! I love her to pieces and would do anything for her! Now on to the tutorial...

First gather your supplies:

Wood board

Fabric

Glue Gun

Cut out letter

Paint

Paint brush

Your going to take your fabric and cover your piece if wood with it so it looks like so ( I used a glue gun to do this )...

and add your letter to the fabric with some tape.

Take your paint and brush and go to town. Make sure you get a good coat. It will help the letter stand out more.

Once it has dried remove your letter and wha la...

Amazing right? I just love it! I cant wait to make a million more. It was super easy too! I was also thinking wouldn't it be so cute to make birds or flowers!?! Hope you enjoyed it!

A little bit of lovin'

Women rock a sobbing child without wondering if today's world is passing them by, because they know they hold tomorrow tightly in their arms.

I just read this over at I am momma Hear me roar...( one of my favorite blogs ) and I just wanted to cry because its so true! No matter how frustrated my little guy makes me, I couldn't love him more! He is my whole world and I love nothing more than being his momma! Hope you are all having a good weekend!
