The Letter H!

My sister came to me with this idea and I loved it! You can check her out here! Shes pretty amazing if I must say so myself! Not just cause she's my sister but the best mommy ever and she's also my biggest fan! I love her to pieces and would do anything for her! Now on to the tutorial...

First gather your supplies:
Wood board
Fabric
Glue Gun
Cut out letter
Paint
Paint brush

Your going to take your fabric and cover your piece if wood with it so it looks like so ( I used a glue gun to do this )...
and add your letter to the fabric with some tape.

Take your paint and brush and go to town. Make sure you get a good coat. It will help the letter stand out more.

Once it has dried remove your letter and wha la...

Amazing right? I just love it! I cant wait to make a million more. It was super easy too! I was also thinking wouldn't it be so cute to make birds or flowers!?! Hope you enjoyed it!

A little bit of lovin'

Women rock a sobbing child without wondering if today's world is passing them by, because they know they hold tomorrow tightly in their arms.

I just read this over at I am momma Hear me roar...( one of my favorite blogs ) and I just wanted to cry because its so true! No matter how frustrated my little guy makes me, I couldn't love him more! He is my whole world and I love nothing more than being his momma! Hope you are all having a good weekend!

Flower necklace onesie

I think this onesie is so flippin' cute! Its totally easy and you can even make accessories to match if you wanted to give it as a gift!

My Supplies
Onesie
Fabric
Beads
Fabric Paint
Pencil w/eraser
Small piece of Paper
Plate
Hot Glue Gun

First thing I did was make the flower for the necklace...

Next I glued the flower to my onesie ( you can also sew it if you would like )

Then I took my piece of paper and placed it on the inside of my onesie so that the fabric paint wouldn't leak through and with the eraser on my pencil I made the chain for the necklace...

Let it dry and you have yourself a cute little onesie!

Hope you like it and give it a try!!!

I'm in love!

I'm so in love with this necklace!!! It was super fun to make and its just amazing on! So to start I used...
Fabric
Needle
Thread
Glue Gun
Jewelry supplies
Beads
Scissors
Eyelets

I started off by making 7 yo yo's. All different sizes and colors. You can use what ever color combos you want!

Next I used eyelets to make holes for the necklace chain to attach to like so...

Then I glued them together to make a little design...

I put my chain on and added some beading for the final touch!

and
now I'm just so in love!!!
Hope you liked it!

Mod Podge Clip Board!

So this didn't turn out quite how I had planned but I think you will get the idea and be able to make one too!

First off I gathered some supplies...

Missing from picture
Ruler, Glue & Nippers
( I found out after I began that I would need these )

So my first attempt I tried to just cut around the clip part but that didn't work out too well so I tried again but this time I just took it off...
Much better...
Now your going to take your paper and trace the board.
When you are done tracing cut out the pattern and bust out the Mod Podge ( so in love with this stuff ).
Your going to want to apply a thin layer of the Mod Podge to the board.

Apply the paper to the top and I just took the ruler and used it to smooth out any air bubbles. I let it sit for about 15 min. and then I did the same to the back. After both sides have dried you will apply another layer of the Mod Podge to the top of the paper on both sides.

Like this!!!

Once it has dried you will want to put the clip back on the board. I just hot glued it back on!

And that's all...Now you have a pretty little clipboard!

Hope you liked it!

Washer Necklace

So I woke up yesterday morning with this idea to make a necklace with old washers my hubby had laying around in his garage. I put some things together and this is what I came up with... I thought it was pretty cute and I wore it all around the other day so I thought I would share with you how to make one of your own!

What I used:
Glue Gun
3 Washers ( 2 small , 1 big )
3 strips of fabric ( about 12 - 16 in. )
Scissors
First Step
Take one of the small washers and the fabric of your choice and glue the end of the fabric to the washer like so...

Then wrap the entire washer with the fabric
and continue these steps on all 3 washers
Then your going to take a small piece of fabric ( about 4 - 6 in. )
and your going to wrap that around one small washer and your big washer like this...
( by the way...am I really this white...? geezz )
Repeat this step with your other small washer.
Now for your necklace part you can use what ever you would like. For this example I just used the rest of the fabric I had left over just so you can get an idea. I just tied it to both ends to make a necklace. I made another one and used chain and I just glued it to the back of the washers...

And...whala! All done.
So easy and so dang cute! I love it!
